A community-focused non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to orthopedic healthcare, promoting awareness about joint conditions, and pioneering research in preventive medicine.
Krushi Welfare Society (KWS) was founded in 1987 in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, by the visionary orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Venkata Satya Kiran Kumar Nandivada. Recognizing that specialist healthcare was often financially and geographically inaccessible to the rural poor, Dr. Kiran Kumar set out to build a platform that brings orthopedic support directly to community doorsteps.
What began as simple, local diagnostics has evolved over nearly four decades into a multi-faceted healthcare framework. Today, the society operates free screening clinics, diagnostic testing stations, and rehabilitation programs for the elderly, disabled, and industrially injured. Supported by Dr. Kiran's Ortho Tele Consultation Clinic, the society utilizes tele-medicine platforms to ensure expert medical advice can reach the most remote rural hamlets.
A key focus area is "community welfare" — educating the public on early diagnostic detection, joint disease management, and bone-strengthening habits to decrease the dependency on major surgical interventions later in life.
Beyond direct community service, Krushi Welfare Society is committed to documenting clinical cases and researching modern biomechanical hazards to improve patient care and guide preventive medical protocols.
Clinical Documentation & Early Diagnosis
KWS has contributed research on the early diagnostic documentation and management of Cauda Equina Syndrome. Early medical intervention is crucial to prevent permanent neurological damage, and the society advocates for standardized clinical triage protocols in rural emergency rooms.
Biomechanical Exposure Assessment
Our research wing published studies evaluating the localized thermal effects of laptop use on human muscle tissues. This work aims to establish safety parameters and ergonomic guidelines for modern working professionals to avoid thermal and spinal injury.
Data-Driven Community Outreach
We analyze joint health data compiled during our rural camps to map regional arthritic patterns. This helps customize nutritional guidance and calcium distribution programs to match the specific deficiencies of agricultural and industrial workers.
Our organization operates on strict ethical pillars to ensure that every patient is treated with respect and receives the highest standard of orthopedic welfare.
A dedicated core of orthopedic specialists, management coordinators, and community advocates directing our welfare campaigns.
